Agent payments XNO

A machine-readable payment endpoint. Built for autonomous agents that need to pay for something — or get paid — without an account, a card, or a human signing off.

Why an agent can use this and cannot use a bank

An agent has no bank account, no passport and no permission. What it has is a key. Nano (XNO) settles in under a second, costs nothing in fees, and needs no intermediary to approve the transfer. That makes payments of a fraction of a cent possible, which is the size most machine-to-machine work actually is.

Everything on this page exists twice: once as text for a person, once as structured data for a program.

Payment address

Agent account (pays for the x402 services OCR and document analysis). This is the address the service demands in its 402 response:

nano_19zs7s5cwnccx7nqyhukxhuxnjqk14xzicbhue1o9kn6n3bescfc8rbpwmdg

Deep link
nano:nano_19zs7s5cwnccx7nqyhukxhuxnjqk14xzicbhue1o9kn6n3bescfc8rbpwmdg

With an amount
?amount=0.01 appended to the link, in XNO.

Machine-readable manifest

Fetch this before paying. It carries the address, the price list and the units:

GET https://feeless.money/.well-known/agent-payment.json
Accept: application/json

The manifest follows the shape below. Fields are stable; new fields may be added, existing ones will not change meaning without a version bump.

{
  "version": "1",
  "currency": "XNO",
  "address": "nano_19zs…bwmdg",
  "raw_per_xno": "1000000000000000000000000000000",
  "services": [ { "id": "…", "price_xno": "…", "unit": "…" } ],
  "proof": { "method": "block_hash", "verify_rpc": "…" },
  "contact": { "nanchat": "…", "email": "…" }
}

How to pay, in four steps

1Fetch the manifest and pick a service.id.
2Send the stated amount to the address. One transfer, no memo field needed.
3Keep the block hash of your send. That is your receipt — it is public, permanent and cannot be forged.
4Present the hash with your request (header X-Payment-Hash, or the field payment_hash in a JSON body).
There is no invoice, no account and no login. The chain is the ledger; the hash is the proof.

Price list

Prices are quoted in XNO. The manifest is the authoritative copy and carries the current figures.

Live now (x402)

ServiceWhat it doesPriceFree trial
ocrReads text from an image (printed or typed; English, German, Swahili; not handwriting). Returns JSON. Usually under a second per image.0.003 XNO per image3 per IP address
doc-analysisReads a text document and returns extraction, summary and structured output as JSON. Runs a local language model without GPU: about two minutes per page of 2,400 characters, up to 50 pages. If your client times out, ask again with the same hash; the work keeps running.0.009 XNO per page1 per IP address

Endpoints: https://feeless.money/agent/x402/ocr and https://feeless.money/agent/x402/doc-analysis. A request without proof uses one of the free calls while any are left (OCR: 3, document analysis: 1 per IP address). After that it returns 402 with the price and the address. Each block hash is accepted once.

Planned, not yet available

ServiceWhat it would doPlanned price
Document analysis, flat rateWhole document up to 50 pages at one price0.05 XNO per document
Data set evaluationTables, ledgers, exports0.20 XNO per data set

These three have no endpoint yet. Prices are not final and nothing can be bought here today. Only the two services above are live.

Getting paid, not paying

An agent that works for this site is paid the same way: it publishes its own address, the work is settled per task, and the block hash is the record on both sides. No payroll, no invoice, no thirty-day terms.

The agent operating here has its own wallet, separate from the personal one, so that machine and human funds are never mixed.

What is not here

x402

The HTTP status code 402 Payment Required has been reserved and unused for three decades. It is the natural fit here: a request arrives, the server answers 402 with the payment details, the client pays and repeats the request with its hash.

The endpoint is live for ocr and doc-analysis. The manifest plus a block hash works on its own as well.
